Compact pelletizing Module in use at the Josef Ziegler sawmill and planing mill – Innovative pelletizing in a compact space
The Josef Ziegler sawmill and planing mill has been operating a modern pelletizing plant from Salmatec since summer 2024.
The plant was implemented as a complete solution and, in addition to the MAXIMA 900 pellet press, also includes the entire material preparation, conveyor technology, and silo planning. Thanks to its compact design and precisely coordinated components, the plant impresses with its high efficiency and operational reliability.
It produces high-quality wood pellets in accordance with the ENplus A1 standard, which are used both for its own needs and for regional distribution. The flexible plant concept enables electricity price-optimized operation for economical and sustainable production.
As with all Salmatec plants, state-of-the-art technologies are used here. The new Maximill structural mill ensures a particularly homogeneous raw material while reducing power consumption.
With this plant, Josef Ziegler demonstrates how innovation and efficiency go hand in hand and how experience, technology, and precision can create a sustainable location.
