SALMATHERM thermal worms are very efficient and manage to reduce running cost at the same time.

SALMATHERM thermal worms enable the temperature to rise while making the pressed material more pliable. This in turn increases throughput and improves the pellet quality. This is done by adding large quantities of steam before the pelleting process.

Animal feed is thermally treated for two to four minutes by controlled retention in the SALMATHERM thermal worm. This has the added advantage that microorganisms that reduce material quality are eliminated.
